It took me hours to figure out what works and what doesn’t with their supposedly “new” Yahoo! Profile service (which includes following their links from here to there and never back). So to save you from pulling your hair out or kicking your AVR or punching your monitor (or prevent you from realizing that Yahoo should probably have sold itself to Google so their engineers and web developers can fix this mess), I am sharing with you what little I found.

Ng Khai had a successful 16 years celebration through a concert dubbed as Passionata: A Cultural Heritage Celebration showcasing Cebuano and Filipino talents.  The event gathered more than 2150 people last November 30 at the Cinema 1, SM City Cebu with 3 performances at 2pm, 4pm and 8pm featuring Asian Troubadours, Cebu Chamber Singers and the Mandaue Children’s Choir. It was a concert like no other. The concert presented not only 11 songs of Filipino, but also 11 songs of other different countries, making it truly a learning and a cultural heritage experience. People are becoming geeks in 2019.

Microsoft Labs has just put in the video where we can see the future. Microsoft worked with customers, partners and other visionaries to identify the opportunities offered by the technological innovations and to anticipate the behavioral changes of the individuals.

news of layoffs are staggering and worrisome and the most recent was done by Intel as they just closed shop, Microsoft Philippines however has just announced that the country will not be affected by the announced job cuts worldwide.

i just read this from tech.blorge, it seems that the redmont software company – Microsoft too is just as volatile as the others.

there is a “substantial” rumor that the company may be laying off as many as 15,000 employees worldwide (this is around 17% of their workforce)…

Charlotte Jones, Group Product Manager for Microsoft’s MSN Groups, recently posted that MSN Groups will be shutting down early next year. This is in-line with the brand aligning of Microsoft as they prepare to launch Windows Live Groups. However, MSN Groups will not be migrated to WLG, but rather to Multiply – the 8th Largest Social Network.

PROBLEM:

Microsoft Office 2007 products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc) lockup/crash when closing or during usage.

DISCUSSION:

Issue(s) seem to be related to a PDF plug-in installed. Issues have been seen with the Adobe PDF plug-in when a HP printer selected as the default printer (Issue may occur with other brands of printers but all reports I have so far are from HP printers). Other issues have been seen with ScanSoft PDF Create installed.

WORKAROUND:

For systems having issues with the HP printer assigned as the default printer, try the following steps:
