Effigies are perhaps one of the most effective ways of making people understand the true sentiments of the people in a rally. In the news report today, I saw a group of protesters burning and, for a lack of a better word, torturing an effigy of the president. The scene didn’t strike me at all being accustomed to seeing such several times over the tv.
