When I was still living in Kamuning, it was easy to get in the Holy Week psyche with the numerous retreats, masses, rituals, choir practices, processions, and others which the Sacred Heart Parish of Kamuning offers. But here in Cambodia, I only remember that it’s Holy Week because of the stifling heat. Oh, BTW, I have some theories why it’s so hot during this time of the year in this post. But God has ways of knocking at my door and reminding me of His presence. And this year, He did it through this beautiful and inspiring writing of a nine-year old girl:
