I’ve been hoping to watch a lot of concerts with the arrival of summer. Here’s some from my list.

1. Chillout Festival Istanbul 2007 – Kemer Golf and Country Club on May 27. This will feature some of the upcoming Chillout artists. I actually want to see Koop perform.
2. Efes One Love Festival featuring The Beastie Boys – at Parkorman on June 17. Same time last year I watched the Black Eyed Peas at the same venue during the festival. Now it’s more white hiphop!
3. Daft Punk – at Kurucesme Arena on June 23. I’ve always been a fan. Who would not recognize songs like “Around the World‘, and “One More Time”.
4. Evanescence- at Kurucesme Arena the next day after Daft Punk. Songs like “Bring Me to Life”, “My Immortal”, and “Call Me When You’re Sober” are certified hits.
5. Shakira – Last but definitely not the least on my list! She will perform here in Istanbul on July 9 at The Kurucesme Arena. I wouldn’t mind watching her grinding her hips a la “Hips Don’t Lie” and her latest duet with Beyonce, “Beautiful Liar”.
