Even if you didn't set out to hurt someone with special needs today that's what happened. why use a slur that takes away the dignity of a vulnerable person? it's just not okay to take away someone's dignity with a casual remark. imagine how you would feel coming across a site that mocks your religion or nationality. that's how I feel when I ever I see sites that mock my child. using the word retard is extremely hurtful and offensive to people with special needs.
