After watching Chungking Express the second time last Sunday (with a special intermission number from MERALCO power outage two scenes to the ending), I got to see this Pinaka(?) show on QTV11 which countdowns the best Filipino films of the 80’s. I didn’t know much about movies then, but I think I now know enough to have correctly predicted the flicks on the top spots. Still puzzles me why this country did so good during the time of oppression and thereafter produced movies fit for the IQ of a dandruff.

(But here’s hope….)
