The day the Catholic church almost died – continuation:
As Aguinaldo’s loose alliance with the Americans against Spain turned into a war between the two former allies, Fr. Aglipay continued to serve the Filipino army in the war of resistance against the Americans. He helped recruit Ilocano guerrillas and served under Col. Manuel Tinio who persistently harassed American garrisons in the Ilocos region. Even after Aguinaldo’s capture in May, 1901, Fr. Aglipay continued the fight until he saw the hopelessness of the cause. He surrendered to the Americans, took the oath of allegiance to the United States and returned to his calling in the Catholic Church, hoping for forgiveness from the Pope.

You know, you’re supposed to post here whenever you have a NEW blog entry, not a serialized installment of an OLD entry nobody’s bothered to read.
Are you the webmaster? The entry is new, part of a whole article originally written by me for comment solicitation. What’s wrong with that. If you are not the webmaster keep this kind of comment to yourself. And if you care not to read, that’s alright with me.
Defensive much?
I’m referring to the blog entry you link to – which you then turn into five successive PinoyBlog posts – the previous four being this, this, this, and this. Medyo abusado lang sya, in my opinion. That goes against the spirit, if not the letter, of Pinoyblog. (I should know, I’ve been here since Day 1, practically.)
Naisip ko lang na baka pwedeng idaan sa pakiusap – if you think I overstepped my bounds, I can always ask Yuga for his opinion, but I was hoping we needn’t come to that.
Read again your first comment. Suppose you who got the comment yourself won’t you feel insulted? You’re right, each successive PinoyBlog entry is a piece of the full article contained in the same link under the title: “Facts most Filipinos hardly know”. The link is a repetition but the PinoyBlog entry is not. What’s wrong with this? Your being here on Day 1 does not clothe you with authority. If Yuga(webmaster?) says so I will stop.
Hello,
Part 4, line 5 of Membership Rules states:
5) Type a summary of your latest entry.
I do hope that sentence was clear enough. We wanted to give equal opportunity for bloggers, esp. the new ones, to promote their blogs here. As such, I’d appreciate it if we stick to the “one-entry-one-summary-post-with-link-back” here at PinoyBlog.
Thanks.
Thanks for clarification.
