Dusk At The Walled City

As I watched her carefully descend the ancient stone stairs, there is a certain magic and undeniable grace in the way she moved. She stopped at the base, looked up and caught my gaze. She flashed a tiny smile, or was she just squinting? Either way, I quickly stopped taking photos of the ancient walled city’s tile roofline and, like a helpless puppy, followed her down into the vast courtyard of Plaza San Luis.
