I am the bunso (youngest) – the youngest of six children; the youngest of thirty-seven cousins on Mom’s side and the youngest of ten cousins on Dad’s side. I also went to school early so I’m younger by an average of two years than a lot of my friends and classmates in grade school and high school. So wherever I went, I was the baby – spoiled rotten, helpless and dependent, the center of attention – all the delightful powers that go along being the bunso.
