One of our family’s all-time favorites, we are never without Kare-Kare at any celebration. I’ve featured this food as a tribute to my lola who used to cook a huge heaping pot of Kare-Kare for the whole family to enjoy. There’s a nice picture in there of kare-kare in an old-fashioned palayok. I’ve also included a recipe…sorry, can’t share our family secret, but if you get it right you’ll definitely enjoy this traditional Filipino dish.
