President Gloria Arroyo has signed Republic Act 9504. This new law will exempt minimum wage earners from paying income tax, increasing tax exemption for all earners and additional exemptions for individuals with dependents/children.

i need help regarding withholding tax?
1.)can someone be specific what does it mean with the phrase “minimum wage earner”…my basic pay annually is 144,000?
2.)i am claiming the exemption of my kids, eversince; have 4 kids but accdg to my employer i can only file the exemptions for my 3 kids because my b.i.r. records in laguna is not yet updated from northern mindanao…
3.) i gave birth to my 4th child last june 2007…from 2007-2009 my b.i.r. form 2316 reflected only my 3 kids under dependent children…will i receive tax refund for that?
pls…our personnel in h.r. is not willing to clear this out….gggrrrrrrrrrr
i want to view on the short copy og the R.A 9504 AS OUR ASSIGNMENT IN OUR SUBJECT.
