Blogs being scraped and plagiarized by other blogs is one thing, but what do you do about the beast that is mainstream media? It’s very disappointing for this type of thing to happen, since television and newspaper companies often consider themselves far more legitimate and reputable than anything that comes from the Internet.
Yet we are experiencing an emerging culture of taking things without asking permission, much less giving proper attribution. It could be a bunch of different reasons, mostly revolving around ignorance, but what does that say about supposedly educated professionals in the fields of journalism and mass media? Where are these people’s ethics?

MESSGAE
· The opposition groups issued a manifesto entitled “HATAK” and “HATOL” - the former supports Gen Esperon while the latter rejects PGMA… both of which are initiated by the anti-administration and aimed in dividing national unity…
· A manifesto entitled “HATAK” wants Gen Esperon to be the head of State while a manifesto “Hatol” wants PGMA to be removed from her position… its quite obvious that the perpetrators are desperate for military support to overthrow the President…
· OPLAN 4G which, was formulated by the Magdalo group is underway… they are now in the part of insinuating civil disobedience…
· OPLAN 4G is a four-phase scheme intended to oust the President… insinuating the public through a chaotic atmosphere, promoting civil disobedience, withdrawal of support and taking over with the help of critical mass… such plot is currently in effect…
· The series of fire that gutted out several areas in Metro Manila are all part of OPLAN 4G… it was intended to insinuate the victims in going against the present administration for their misery…
· Destabilizers are pushing to the edge as to the extent of setting off the fires that left several families homeless… with this; they can easily make out misery and instill a chaotic environment enough for public outrage…
· A desperate attempt of destabilizers to create chaos and go against the government is to hire arsonists to smolder certain squatter’s area in Metro
Manila… this is quite evident in the continual fire that hit slum areas…
· Serge Osmeña engineered Pulse Asia’s fabricated result of the most corrupt President… He allied himself with political opposition, destabilizers and leftist groups so as to oust PGMA before 2010…
· 18 months starting this January is the most crucial period for destabilizers… the span of time is the only opportunity they have to oust PGMA, since any time longer than that, comes the 2010 election fever…
· OPLANs Hackle, Liras, Roundhead,
Jericho and 4G are all Magdalo schemes to oust the President… Oplan 4G is still underway for leftist groups and power grabbers are riding with the rogue soldiers…
· OPLAN Jericho, known as the Manila Peninsula incident was designed to draw supporters from all sectors… however, it was in vain since people are not anymore inclined in believing the Trillanes et al…
· The fabricated result of Pulse Asia’s “most corrupt” President is part of OPLAN 4G… to insinuate public outrage and eventually civil disobedience…

If you think free on-air greetings and granted song requests are all that can be had from the radio, think again. Because with Magic 89.9’s 12 Days of Christmas Radio Promo, DJ Mo Twister shows the world that radio ain’t dead just yet.
Forget unlimited day-to-night texting, free full tanks, and autographed CDs of your favorite band. Radio is supposed to be officially dead but this Christmas, DJ Mo Twister from Magic 89.9 gives every one a big surprise.
We just came from Philsports Arena (formerly ULTRA) where we attended the very first Kerygma Conference conducted by the Light of Jesus Family of Bo Sanchez. In the few hours that we were there, we were inspired by the sharings of Fr. Orbos who celebrated the opening mass, the performance of very powerful performers like Nolyn Cabahug and Dulce, and the Bo’s talk on his 7 beliefs. Read more at Pinoy Seminars.

Yup that’s right, it seems there’s no such thing as pop songs in the Philippines, if there are, its rare or imported from another country i.e. USA, Japan, Korea.
This is pretty bold statement but I think I can provide some evidence of this.
For some reason “pop” music in the Philippines has been categorized with ballads and/or alternatives. There are great bands over there doing covers of rock ballads or singing their own compositions. But it’s still not “pop” music.
Pop artist/s are “packaged and groomed” as an individual artist and/or as part of a group.
If I may, the categories that are dominant in the Philippines are ballad, alternative, rock, weird ones (otso, otso), dance, rap, R&B, Christian, revivals and traditional. But no poppish beat.
…
It’s really quite surprising that Flip-pop/filpop has not develop yet even though it’s heavily influence by western music. It’s an untapped, and very profitable market.
Yes I coined the term: Flip-pop/filpop

In our fast paced work culture in a globalized economy, quality and productivity are two of the focuses of every business unit to remain competitive. Though this is not bad, an equally important ingredient is seemingly taking the back seat.Knowledge and Skill are given emphasis by management when evaluating its human resources. With the belief that these directly contributes to the bottomline figure, employee attitude, character and habits became secondary in importance. At times, leaders are in dilemma to choose between a technically competent person with character problem and a trustworthy candidate but still lacking in skill. When the demand to fill the office is immediate, can a business unit afford to wait? Which choice is more expensive? The investment cost to train a trustworthy person or the losses that may result from character flaw? We know that the lack of skills and knowledge can be addressed by mentoring, coaching and training program. But is there an organizational intervention that can address character problem?
Attitude and character are part and parcel of “integrity”. But what is integrity? Should it be a factor in a person’s effectiveness and development? Should it matter in an organization?
