I have a severe case of “Last Song Syndrome”. The song “Balik sa Bohol” kept on playing in my mind from the first time I’ve heard it at the very scenic Loboc river up to the departure area of Tagbilaran airport. And just like the song, images of the scenic Bohol also kept on flashing in my head as I relish the moments I was there.

I recently got back from a client support assignment in Belgium for 3 months. The first time I learned I was going to Belgium, I really had no idea what was instore for me for 3 months in that country. The only thing that popped out of my mind when Belgium is mentioned is the picture of Miss Belgium, who became a crowd favorite when the Miss Universe was held in the Philippines in 1994. Living on the 10th floor of a condo, one of the “amenities” that I get to enjoy every year is watching the view of Makati and Manila skyline on new year’s eve, seeing all the fantastic fireworks across metro manila, without having to shell out any money. [Read more..]

Here are some photos I took of the 2009 Cheese Rolling Festival in Whistler. It was a fun event, you see people running downhill trying to win a block of cheese. Whoever goes downhill first wins the cheese that was rolled downhill. The cheese of course is wrapped.

I use Adobe Photoshop for my photo editing. Adobe Photoshop is a wonderful tool for Photographers, but I really only use about 1% of what Photoshop can do. You don’t need Adobe Photoshop to do the photo editing I do, you can use other photo editing softwares like Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, Adobe Lightroom for the PC or Apple Aperture 2 if you use a Mac.
