Touch the Sky
“For the day you die, you gonna touch the sky”
Johnny Martires was a good guy — all Johnnies are, of course. He was generous in patience, love, and other goofy-good what-not. But others weren’t as generous to him; for example, his girl. But he wasn’t crying, no, not all Johnnies cry. He was smiling from ear to ear, epilepsisyzing himself to Kanye West’s tune loudly playing in his room, conquering every sound wave from there out to a one mile radius.

Superman going around the globe from Manila to Italy to France saving people reeks of American Hegemony of global security. He is portrayed as the world’s policeman, fireman, and one-man security force where everyone is beholden to him and utterly grateful to his Boy Scout acts. But still, it shows that an American Icon like Superman being on top of global affairs where he has influence over other sovereign nations makes me want to puke. Not only is he violating the air spaces of other countries, he is implying that other countries can’t take care of themselves and are always in need of Superman.

Awful Things
At first look, it looks like a GameBoy Micro, but it’s not. It’s called the One Station. A video game store in SM North EDSA’s CyberZone has been selling these knock-offs at P1,999 each. The handheld is actually a portable Famicom/NES and uses a cartridge specially made for the game system. It’s powered by 3 AAA batteries and can be plugged into a TV set, for a bigger game screen.
Booster has updated his firmware launching tool, DevHook for the PSP to version 0.42 today. For those of you who don’t know (i.e. 2.5/2.6 users who have just downgraded), DevHook allows you to launch another firmware version up to 2.5 and use all of its features, enabling you to use the web browser and LocationFree player, and run UMDs that require firmware version 1.5. The firmware remains loaded in the PSP’s RAM, so after a simple reboot of your PSP, it will return to firmware version 1.5 like magic.
Here’s the changelog:
* Menu looks sharper with a better resolution.
* No UMD bug fix
* UMD Emu’s semaphore bug fix
* Changed Clock reset timing
* Changed contents of configuration data
* Changed loading & setting method from launcher
* Changed the config load at the time of starting into a memory course from a file.
* XMB’s UMD change feature is now in an external module.
* Added a CLOCK change function to the XMB shortcut.
* Clock frequency is displayed on the XMB
* Remote control compatibility with Kprintf.
* Added Japanese localization launcher version by mok
Todo:
* FW2.00 No-UMD loading
* FW2.71 reboot
* NAND driver emulation
Most of these changes are to the core of DevHook, and they improve the stability and compatibility of this program. The main differences the average user will spot are the menu resolution enhancements and the addition of Remote control compatibility with Kprintf. Those who have downgraded from 2.5-2.6 now know why 1.5 is known as ‘the magic firmware.’ You can do almost anything with it: defy the Update Machine; play 2.5 UMD’s; and, browse the Web with 1.5 Firmware!

As a freshman at the University of North Texas, Daniel Folmer would sometimes play video games for 12 hours straight. He stopped going out with friends. He sank into academic probation.
When his girlfriend came over, he stayed in his virtual world. Then she told him something that jolted him back to reality.
“She just waited for me to look at her, or acknowledge her, or hug her or whatever, and she said she fell asleep waiting,” he said. “I looked in the mirror, and I did not like who I was becoming.”

But, but, but, point is, don’t hold back from getting your wisdom tooth/teeth extracted beacause some pussy told you it’s going to be painful. I swear to God it’s not. That’s coming from a queerboy. You should be so shamed.
“It’s so surreal to hear your jawbone getting scraped and your teeth being broken and twisted– keeerunch!– but not feel a thing. It’s so dehumanizing. I felt like a car. Or a tenant to my own body….So Skeleton Key.”
“It is a total mess!” Walang malinaw na policy, accountability at yong usual na office protocol di nasusunod. Oo nga manager ako dito, pero di ko alam, merong isang kesehodang officer, dederestso sa staff ko na hindi man lang ako sinasabihan. peste!”
Italy just qualified for the finals of the World Cup beating crowd favorite, Germany. The final score, 2-0 for the spaghettis during extra time. The goals were made at the veeeerrryyy last minute by Fabio Grosso (119th minute) and the last one that nailed the coffin for the krauts was the goal of Alessandro Del Piero ( left on the photo below) the minute after ( 120th minute). I really thought, the game would end in a one on one penalty until the last minute.

I broke his iPod Nano with my butt. I forogt that the pencil-thin sexy gagdet was in my back pocket when I decided to shoot some hoops with its owner, my cousin Benjie for an afternoon fun. The routine game turned into a nightmare when I lost balance during a rebound and fell to the ground butt ergo, iPod nano first.
I froze when I heard this crack and felt something on my back pocket. Holy Sh*t!! Naupuan ko ang iPod ni insan!!! I screamed in my mind that is now refusing to believe so. It felt like landing on two packs of Skyflakes crackers that..well…cracked. I got back up on my feet with the help of my cousin and while he was concerned about my well-being, I was dead worried about his iPod and my dear life. I braved up, and reached for the device in my backpocket, held it in my two hands and nearly fainted after seeing an unerving crack running across the iPod’s screen that is now lifeless and blank.
“Chotto matte…Nani?!” My cousin Benjie suddenly lost his knowledge of the English and Filipino language and started to be histerical in Japanese. All I understood was, “What the hell happened?!! How?! Why?! Oh you’re so dead!!!”
Being honest
honestly, honesty is the best policy, except where diplomacy is required. it is important to strike a balance between honesty and diplomacy.
Being there for family and friends

just remember all the mistakes you have made in your own life before you judge others.
Paying off your credit card
many people have no idea how virtuous you can feel if you pay more than the minimum balance each month, or how ecstatic you can be if you pay off the balance and can start spending again.
Quit smoking
only smokers and ex-smokers can understand understand why it is an underrated virtue giving up.
Being real
be yourself. spend some time working out who you are and follow that for the rest of your life. god made us all different and we can love others so much more if we can be ourselves. love yourself and enjoy it.
Being fair
life is unfair. we all know that. but that doesn’t mean we should compromise our values. we should try and be fair to everyone.

Being good
all of our virtues boil down to simply being good. being good is an underrated virtue. well, who even thinks about it?
