I spent the weekend in internet-less rural Laguna. You know, those places where we have to hunt wild boars for food and offer burnt sacrifices to Maria Makiling to prevent the dragon from eating the sun, hence delaying the end of the world and giving the tribes more time to engage in orgies and human sacrifices.

But that’s not the entire point of the article. You see, my grandparents live in that place. But that still is not my point.

You see, my aunt got married two months ago and since me and my aunt have a very small age gap (see what I did there, tita?) she finally got relieved of the pressure of getting married and stuff. And guess who the grandfolks set their eyes on next.

Clue: His name starts with “A” and ends with “de Magnaye”.

So cue clueless Ade, walking into the nipa hut (yes, they live in a nipa hut. I kid not. Well, the nipa hut’s got airconditioning. So whatev.), greeting his grandfolks like he always does. Then his grandpa, sensing a moment of weakness, drops the bomb:

“Say, Ade, when are you getting married?”

You do not ask that to a single 25-year old who has no plans of getting married just yet because 90% of the women he meets treat him as a gay best friend only straight while the remaining 10% treat him as a sexual offender.

In time, I’d forget how you look like. Your eyes, your prominent cheekbones, the spiked hair you wanted to have dyed. Perhaps I’d even forget your name and the sound of your voice will slowly fade from my memories. We spent just a few hours together anyway and I did not have a clue of your existence prior to that fateful night.

2008 World Pyro Olympics - Day 2

Everyone knows I am kikay. One look at me and many will say… Ahh, yes you definitely are. Because I am like that, I take great effort to take care of myself and to try to look good. I am very particular with the clothes, the makeup brands, the shoes, and the skincare I buy for myself. I also make sure that my body gets a good de-stressing by getting a good massage once in a while or visit spa’s to get a quick facial.

Can you imagine calling Globelines’s Customer Service and be put on hold for at least 30 mins? I don’t know how will you react on this but I was just so pissed off when I called them one time. Actually, been calling them a couple of times already and all I got are disappoints and dissatisfactions! The name of the agent is Mark and he never managed to get back to me for any development of the transaction he claimed he doing for me. I was left hanging on the line for more than 20 mins not sure if my request has been processed or not. I disconnected the call intentionally. Called them back and now was informed by an Agent named John that it has been processed and was advised to call them back and to monitor the reconnection within 24 hours! What a cliché on their end! Definitely, not convincing folks!

I would be better if the one below answers my call!

Do you remember this recent post? Why O__o? Well, one of my winnar friends, Mishi (the girl I was with at the iblog afterparty) made a really crack collage that would totally make Korean fangirls hate me.

LOL. I just sit and wait until this reaches the Korean netizens. Who knows, I might start getting comments like “sHUt uP U d0NT luK Lyk TEUKIE OppA 1 BiT, U wHor3!!!111one!” or even end up getting poisoned by one of them! I won’t mind meeting Gackt this Lee Teuk kid someday though. I mean, I look like a Korean male celebrity- it’s supposed to be a good thing, right?

In another note (which is related to the title), I’ve finally accepted that most guys have bigger boobs than me. Serious. Even my mother would laugh at my chest when she sees me in tight tops. I mean, I’m so flat, I look like this topless.

This is my 800^th article for sunstar since I started writing for it 14 years ago.  People always ask me where I get so many things to write about.  Actually, its simple – the more you read, and the more you think about what you read, the more ideas you will have to share.  I still make it part of my routine to read and scan through thousands of articles and as many books I can get every month.

The technology news is full of reports about the fact that Microsoft has decided not to pursue its bid to buy Yahoo.  After three months of negotiation, Microsoft apparently decided that the price they were asking for was too high – Microsoft offered more than 70% premium over the public stock price of Yahoo, but apparently Yahoo felt that their price was nearer almost double what it was before Microsoft started to court it.
