Yesterday, I was left alone at a friend’s house and I decided to watch this movie called “Facing the Giants”. The movie is about a high school football team that has grown accustomed to losing. Parents blame head coach Grant Taylor. Taylor blames his apathetic players. And the players blame former star players who transferred to other teams to escape the vicious cycle in hopes of being noticed by college scouts. With Taylor’s job on the line, and his personal life in chaos (he’s growing tired of not being able to provide a nice car and home for his wife, and he’s just discovered that he’s the reason his wife can’t get pregnant), he turns to God in a deep and moving way. Like all great movie trilogies, the second movie has to live up to the first, and maybe even try to surpass it. It also has to build the story and the conflict for the third movie’s awesome finish. On top of all that, it has to stand on its own. It has to be a strong enough movie so it won’t feel like just a bridge connecting two towers of AWESOME. That’s a lot of responsibility for a movie. Thank God this isn’t a movie. This is the second part of Cinemabuzz, Comicology, and Face Rockery’s collaborative list of the 15 Best Comic Book Movies of All Time! HAHAHAHAaaaiiineed a drink.
Now, before we start, make sure you’ve read the first part of the list over at Cinemabuzz. If you haven’t done that yet, please do so now. … Done? Awesome. Let’s go.

There’s no better way to bring back my totally useless blog series, Face-Rocking Covers, than the first day of this most momentous week: IRON MAN WEEK YAY! Obviously, we’ll be taking a look at some of ol’ Shellhead’s old face-rocking comic book covers. The Invincible One didn’t catch the fancy of the general public until the movie was announced, which baffles me since Iron Man is one rockin’ mofo. Observe:

One of the most suspenseful covers ever. Seriously. It’s a dude trying to get his normal clothes off and desperately trying to put on his suit of armor… WHILE FALLING TO HIS CERTAIN DEATH! If only he thought of bringing this thing called a “parachute”.
Before I wrote this blog it had 760 words. So I’ll make it short and try making it sweet (haha). All I wanted to say was playing Half-Life 2 and Half Life 2 Episode One was an experience I will never forget. Fighting 30 foot tall Striders (Warning: some Major spoilers ahead)

My first 5×5x5 cube has finally twisted its last twist. Good thing I have a spare which is of better quality.
Anyway, If you’re going to buy a 5×5x5 cube, don’t buy the Rubik’s brand. Not only is it more expensive, but it’s also heavier, cumbersome, and prone to damage as can be seen from the pictures below.

I know. It’s already March. But if you’re like me, you’ve probably procrastinated this long (almost) to get your christmas pictures done. (Much less share them with the relatives, ha ha ha).
I’ve been so busy putting up all my websites and getting them going that my digiscrapping had to take a back seat. Since January, I’ve only digiscrapped once and I haven’t even created any give-aways yet. (Altho I’m really aiming on giving you some freebies this weekend, hopefully
But when I was browsing thru my sisters’ kits at Gotta Pixel, I kinda took a fancy to this beautiful Christmas kit. I know I have just the right Christmas photos to go with it.
The pictures I used were all taken last December 24 during our Christmas Eve midnight dinner with the family. We were all gathered at my MIL’s house opening our gifts before we partook of the food. The first LO is about our DD, Madonna, and our dear niece, Pearl. Pearl was wearing her nice red dress we bought for her and she wore when she attended her dad’s Marriott staff Christmas party. Madonna was donned and was going to meet up with her friends that night. This was a cute picture that I really had to create an LO for it.
