The Pakalistas have taken up the monumental task of identifying great food and restaurants in Cebu to go to this Sinulog Grand Mardi Gras. This task is so difficult, they had to meditate over their choices in the Sto. Nino Basilica for days!

The conference on the “Filipino Community and Beyond,” sponsored by the National Alliance of Philippine Women in Canada ended last Sunday. Aside from being enlightening, the conference was also very refreshing because it was focused on community—not academic—research.
