Remember when you were in kindergarten and you wanted that Barbie or toy truck so much that you were on your parents feet groveling just so they could buy you one? What about when you were in grade school and was lusting after your classmate’s bag or video game? Didn’t you promise your parents you would be such a good kid that they would have no choice but to give you a reward?

These days I always get chided for not sharing my recipes for dishes that I serve to friends and family. I tell them its not that I don’t want to share, I just have limited time to sit down and actually come up with witty words to go with the recipes that I publish. I don’t want my posts to be just a recipe. I try to add some story or two to accompany my recipes because in reality my recipes are parts of my life.
I was onced like you, looking for a way to earn money while just sitting inside my room. Then I started to google some sites. And heres the list that could also help you like how it helped myself.

When I was young, I always knew in my heart that I wanted a large family. In fact, I always chanted out loud that I wanted to have 5 boys and 1 girl for my children. Sort of creating a basketball team with my kids with a cheerleader to boot. Its funny how one’s young mind can exaggerate dreams.
I now have two lovely boys. I am happy and have realized how impractical it is to raise a large family especially with such hard times. And at my age, I don’t think it is even possible to give birth to 4 more kids unless I conceive quadruplets as in right now.
On the heels of my Discovery Travel and Living Christmas contest, I am now partnering with Coca-Cola to give away an 8GB Ipod Nano with Photo/Video Camera. All you have to do is be like a paparazzi and capture interesting photos of a person drinking Real Leaf Green Tea. The more creative, the funnier, the cuter, the more heartwarming the photo is and the more interesting the story is behind the photo, the better the chances of it being chosen as the winning entry.

You’ve heard of Guitar Hero right? Well here’s Christmas Lights Hero!
I saw this video on Youtube where a guy in L.A. rigged his Christmas Lights to look like Guitar Hero. It’s playable with the Wii wireless controller too!
Awesome!

Earlier this month, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced the creation of a general inquiry e-mail box for customers in Canada. Currently Canadians cannot access the National Customer Service Center through the 1-800 number to ask about general immigration questions, so this e-mail box is good news for Canadians. Canadian customers may now inquire about general immigration information at USCIS.Canada@dhs.gov in addition to obtaining immigration information on the USCIS website (http://www.uscis.gov). The creation of this mailbox signifies a major step in USCIS’ outreach to Canadians since the dissolution of the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) Ottawa office in 2003.

Now that Starbucks has lost its monopoly on stylish planners, many other cafe’s, clothing stores and stationery stores have jumped on to the same idea and produced and marketed their own chic planners. I am not talking Belle De Jour, or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf or even the Amore food planner. I am talking about the exclusive National Bookstore 2010 planner.

Our trip to Cebu City is a reunion to once my hometown and a comeback after more than 20 years. It felt good to be back home again.
From our Negros Island Adventure we cross over via sea transport to the southernmost part of Cebu Island.
The bus ride is impressive as we crossed the crooked road going to Central Cebu. Uphill, downhill and for most part, a cliff view of the breathtaking seascape of the island. We were lucky to grab a seat at the right side of the bus.

MANILA, Philippines—CNN hero of the year Efren Peñaflorida was nearly victimized by a suspected robber as the former was stepping out of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Friday afternoon.
Rezcel Fajardo, a colleague of Peñaflorida at the Dynamic Teen Co., said Peñaflorida was about to board a car around 1:30 p.m. when a man got near him and tried to snatch a pouch from his bag.
But the thief accidentally dropped the pouch, drawing the attention of Peñaflorida and his colleagues.
