What is it with men and umbrellas? I know very few men who would allow themselves to be seen carrying or toting an umbrella, regardless of how masculine it may look. It is funnier to watch some grown men try to run across the street probably hoping he will only slightly get wet since he is so fast. Or the man who has to sacrifice a very important meeting that he can’t get to as he is seeking refuge under a makeshift roof, an awning, waiting until the rain stops. Or the man who walks briskly trying to appear casual but truthfully is being soaked by the drops of rain falling down on his head. My own husband doesn’t care to be seen under an umbrella even if I happen to be holding it. Men!
Here are some photos I took of the 2009 Cheese Rolling Festival in Whistler. It was a fun event, you see people running downhill trying to win a block of cheese. Whoever goes downhill first wins the cheese that was rolled downhill. The cheese of course is wrapped.

A couple of days back my son went up to me and expressed, “Mommy I’m a loser”, with the hint of a smile. I felt he wanted me to either confirm that he was or that I would so kindly convince him he was not.
Wow! Galeng! – That was how the people reacted to the miracle of Jesus. (Read)
The Barrens was torn apart. Auberdine was thrown up. The massive gates of Gilneas crumbled. Water flowed in the desolate places and turned it into a thick forest. Everywhere you go there were major changes, only a few were not affected this much like the northern continent of Northrend where the Alliance and Horde, while battling each other, are busy trying to bring justice and end the terror of the Lich King Arthas.
This is the new face of Azeroth. It will never be the same again. As a virtual citizen of this planet, there are tasks to do before the world changes forever. World of Warcraft bloggers (and commenters) are posting their “Cataclysm Bucket List”. Exactly what I have been thinking since the official announcement of Cataclysm.
Come and check-out Yarso’s Cataclysm Bucket List.

Oh lookee! It’s September, and it’s time to break out the Christmas decorations because Christmas is just around the corner! Okay, not really, because, you see, you can’t put Christmas in a corner because it’s a metaphysical thing we call a holiday, and we really can’t shoehorn holidays in corners and– yeah? Well, fuck you too.Anyway, since I am about to go on a rampage the next time I hear Jose Mari Chan’s “Whenever I see girls and boys selling lanterns on the street” being played around me, I might as well use this early Christmas spirit to help me out of this writer’s block. And people are already putting up their wish lists, I might as well make mine to give you people enough time to save up and buy me these things! Right guys? Guys? The Complete Remastered Beatles CatalogI really want this. I’ve been a big Beatles fan for as long as I could remember, and my biggest complaint about their albums is that they sound too tinny.
I thought it might be of interest to readers to show them the different sizes of the camera sensors to really understand how sensor sizes affect image quality.

I use Adobe Photoshop for my photo editing. Adobe Photoshop is a wonderful tool for Photographers, but I really only use about 1% of what Photoshop can do. You don’t need Adobe Photoshop to do the photo editing I do, you can use other photo editing softwares like Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, Adobe Lightroom for the PC or Apple Aperture 2 if you use a Mac.
