‘taaaayke my hends…off to Nether-Netherlands’, kaya tuloy yung kanta na yun ang parating nasa utak ko.

I’ve been trying to expand my photographic skills and I wanted to try to learn portraiture. Since my last attempt didn’t work out so well. I kept my eyes open for another opportunity.
In the meantime, I’ve been researching some photography blogs to give me an idea of what poses would be nice.

The $20,000 dinner spent by GMA and company at Le Cirque Restaurant in New York has spark an outrage.
The palace got its spin doctors trying to justify the obscene amount. Press Secretary Cerge Remonde said it was a simple dinner.
Let’s see:

You see, I can be a bit of a snark at times. But really, I’m a generally nice guy. Shut up or I’ll kick your ovaries so hard they’ll shoot out your nose. Now go make me a turkey sammich. Anyway, I just realized that I’ve been ignoring these spam comments for over a year now, and will you look at that, they’re just begging for attention. And since I am not a rude motherfucker, I decided to show some lovin’ and reply to those comments.
Also, I have absolutely nothing to write about and I really really need to update this blog because I told myself that I need to make a weekly post even though it makes no sense at all. What.

The President Cory funeral cortege took the same road when Senator Ninoy was also brought to his resting place – via Makati’s portion of the South Super Highway or as known today “President Osmeña Highway”.
Since it’s in our neighborhood, I went outside and joined the thousands of Filipinos waiting to give their last respects to the 11th President of the Republic of the Philippines – President Corazon “Cory” Cojuangco-Aquino.
I brought home 426 photos, 332 of which I uploaded online. These photos captured the Filipino people during her time of mourning as a Nation. If you weren’t there, then I hope these photos will allow you to go back in that point in time and be there as well, together with us.
The photos will speak for me and express for me what it was like being there. So join me as I show you: A Story to Tell… A President to Remember.
I know this is a photography site, but a close cousin of photography is video. The brother of a friend of mine had a wedding recently and hired Phoeben Teocson who is considered to be one of the top 5 videographer in the Philippines. I saw the wedding video I was floored. I just love how the video was taken and edited. The music chosen was very good as well.

Most investors who are looking for ‘tips’ for option trading success have the wrong perspective. They seek tricks, special strategies, or ‘can’t-miss’ gimmicks. There are no such things.
Options are the best investment vehicles around. They allow investors to take long, short, or neutral positions. They allow you to manage risk far better than any other investment method. Use them wisely and they will treat you well.

Don’t you just hate clutter? I know I do. This is not surprising really considering how obsessive compulsive I am. I especially hate it when I get tangled up in wires and cables of all the gadgets I carry around with me. In fact, I have had to replace my mouse and earphones just because I pulled too hard on them when I tried to get them from my bag.
I have a ton of nylon cable ties that I have to cut most of the time anyway, velcro cable ties that are more expensive and get worn out eventually and I have the good old trusty rubber band. But even with that, the cables are still exposed and prone to getting tangled up with one another.
I came across the above article published by one of my favorite writers, Jessica Zafra, on her blog Jessica Rules the Universe.
I must confess that I was an active witness to the People Power Revolution that happened in 1986. Our school was located right smack in the middle of Edsa where all the chaos unfolded so I cannot help but be swept in the series of events that led to getting Cory Aquino elected to the presidency.

The challenge with photography is sometimes looking for a subject to photograph. I’ve been so busy with work lately that sometimes I’m too tired to think what to photograph.
When that happens, I don’t think about it, I just shoot.
