Last night (my local time – Asean Common Time) I searched if there are fonts that were updated to include the Peso currency sign which is located at Unicode point 20B1.

I was planning on creating a Peso font if I can not find a one, this was after the availability of Peso sign was discussed during the Philippine Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope Release Party. My search turned-out positive, there’s not just one but countless of fonts already updated with the Peso sign included.

Asian Troubadours have finished recording their songs, and just released a sampler CD consisting of 11 tracks.

This is a compilation of the songs that they play, and is a mix of
various repertoire from classical to pop to folk songs and original
compositions, and is intended to garner user feedback about the choice
of songs, the arrangements, and how it is played.

Currently, the CDs are just given to friends and fans and a request to
provide feedback – either directly or through its web sites.

Starcraft 2 release date. When is it releasing?  Currently Blizzard hasn’t announced a release date but there’s a lot of rumors floating around the net, I’m batting that release will be this year by the Xmas season but then again I was hoping for that last year as well.

I have heard many praises and expressions of relief that the new highway in North Luzon is now open and that is cuts travel short by hours. Trips to Subic and Baguio, is now as fast as a heartbeat, I have heard one comment even.

So when we planned our trip to Subic for my son’s birthday, we planned to take SCTEX so that we can get to Subic (and back) in lesser time than we used to. Maybe this is why we really did not rush to head out early, instead ate breakfast at home first and left around 8AM already.
