Here’s an interesting post from BusinessWeek about Twitter.
How can you use you Twitter to build it one Twitter post a time? Here’s 7 things that I’ve learned from this post:
1. Join Twitter.
2. Don’t be daunted. Master the micro-blogging platform by staying.
3. Follow the conversations of your market. Join the conversations.
4. Find Twitterers with a huge following and try to get their attention.
5. Make yourself approachable. Blog something “human”. (Read the Cluetrain Manifesto about having a human voice)
6. Find your “Twitter” voice eventually and learn how add new customers via Twitter.
7. FInd NEW ways to leverage Twitter and share it to your Twitter community.

from this plurk:
“Ay sir sorry po, iba kasi yung rice na ginagamit namin dito.”
so while everywhere else in the Philippines, Filipinos are happy that the Tokyo Tokyo franchises have joined the ranks of Inasal in giving unlimited rice to their customers, TOKYO TOKYO VITO CRUZ doesn’t serve UNLIMITED RICE.
QUESTION: Is this how the TOKYO TOKYO franchise operates? They open in the Taft U-Belt and probably think they can charge 5 pesos per extra rice and NOT GIVE the usual UNLIMITED RICE offer BECAUSE their customers are from DLSU, DLS-CSB and St. Scho?
EPIC BRANDING FAIL
plurk here, here, here and here
oh and it’s also on Twitter now
UPDATE:
Apparently, this a “new setup” according to review here about Tokyo Tokyo Tarlac city. To quote:
“The new branch at Tarlac City is most welcome since me and my family are avid fans of this resto. However, it surprised me to learn last Dec. 26 when dining with my family that this branch does not offer unlimited rice as in all other branches in the Philippines. One of the crew said that it is a “new setup.” What new setup is that!? Besides, the rice they are serving (Thai Rice daw, w/c I doubt)is not cooked Japanese style (buhaghag) so you can’t use your chopstick properly.
Attention!!! TokyoTokyo franchising, what is this new setup that has altered by conception of your food…. Just asking”
oh well.
I found some contact info here, maybe someone can call up their office based on this info?

Have you seen the latest Edition of Fast and the Furious yet or any previous installation parts of it? Or at least the trailer? I’m sure it’s not all about the actors or the story why you like those movies, but the car and the race and the intense and the excitement. What am I talking about… forget it…

pSince the beginning of this advice column dedicated to helping out those who are helplessly unable to find happiness, we have come to realize that we at Down The Highway have neglected a significant portion of our readership: the zombies./p pLast Thursday, one avid zombie reader visited the DtH offices. Since his brains were already hanging out of his nose, we panicked. Shotguns, crucifixes and wooden stakes were produced and used on our hapless visitor. After a failed attempt to kill him (and losing two of our interns in the process), it was clear that it was just an unfortunate misunderstanding: he just wanted to pour his heart out over a lost love./p p align=”center”img src=”http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/3258/zombies01.png” alt=”Zombie Attack” /br /“You see, there was this girl, and she dumped me for a sparkly vampire…”/p pWe learned an important lesson: zombies may look different, they may smell like five year-old rotting flesh, and yes they are emindeed/em rotting (because you know, they’re kind of dead), but they have feelings like you and me. The next time you see a zombie, don’t run away; he may be after your brains, but chances are he’s after your heart as well. Don’t be racist. In fact, we’ll soon hire a zombie staffer (in the spirit of zombie-human solidarity) once we figure out how to keep him from attacking people during office hours./p pAnd now we’re going to publish some of the zombie letters that we received over the years. a href=”http://blog.ademagnaye.com/2009/04/03/down-the-highway-an-advice-column-for-emo-zombies/” class=”more-link”span class=”more-link”Continued…/span/a/pbr /br /div class=”zemanta-pixie”img class=”zemanta-pixie-img” src=”http://img.zemanta.com/pixy.gif?x-id=6e7c3553-fd2e-8a46-a861-89e4d910e8d6″ //div
The entry of Jesus into Jerusalem was a grand event. It was noisy with excitement from the many people who were expecting great things from him. Jesus, too, comes to us. Sometimes quietly. Sometimes his coming is an unpleasant surprise. But he always comes to do us good, even if at first, it doesn’t look that way. Palm Sunday
Sometimes it causes havoc in the airport when someone…. [Read more]
