A couple of months ago, I wrote about parenting partnerships and how you need partners in raising your children. These partners can be your spouse, your nanny, the grandparents, godparents, extended family, friends or hired help. You would notice that all those mentioned are living and breathing human beings. This is not because they are the only ones eligible to become parenting partners but I choose not to go the alternative – the non-human type of partner.

How to conquer the world is the simplest and easiest question to answer, but before you fulfill your destiny of world domination, I believe that the relevant question is “Why do you want to conquer it?” Assuming you went pass the why question, then continue reading this article. But if you cant find the answer to the why question, you might want to save time and effort by doing more productive things like watching TV or eating donuts instead of reading this article. Don’t worry ill try to write another article about how not to conquer the world, you can read that instead. I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be lengthy also. It might even be just a blank page.

It was my dad who first brought me and my siblings to Dampa, the original one located in Airport Rd. Paranaque Cify. Back when I was in college, more than ten years ago, Dampa was a wet market you could easily miss even if you try very hard to find it. You had to enter a narrow street to get to the end where the wet market was. Alongside that were several open establishments that provided paluto services. Paluto meant you buy the seafood and they cook it for you, charging you a small amount for the effort (per kilo) and other condiments used in cooking and the rice you would often be inclined to order. If you happen to be on the lazy side or maybe just do not have the skills to buy fresh seafood for yourself, they can also do the marketing for you.

Don’t you sometimes wish there were more than enough hours in a day to do everything you have to do include those you want to do? Lately, the days passed by in a blur. And yet at the end of the day, I feel like I have not accomplished anything. My mind keeps filling up with stuff I need to do the next day, or that there’s so much I forgot to do today.
