Katrina Halili in a sexy and daring outfit for Maxim Philippines’ September 2008 issue. Topless? Almost as look at that thing she’s wearing!
Today I am taking a break from retardery and updating you about my latest embarrassment and/or sexual misdemeanour by showing you the greatest thing that was ever invented. No, it’s not the wheel, or even the combustion engine. Atomic bomb? Not even close. Beer? Well, beer’s important, but not close.
Ladies and gents, I present the amazing laptop-humping dog:
You may stare at it for a while and wonder what the heck does it do. Does it save your files? Does it cure cancer? Does it work as a contraceptive? Does it hack into the pentagon’s computer system and start off a thermodynamic nuclear war? More »
8. I learned that Decathlete Bryan Clay of the United States is the World’s greatest athlete but nobody gives a S***t about him. If your name is Michael Phelps however, the whole world practically knows who you are and you’re set for life! You get to have multi-million dollar contracts, appear on cereal boxes for the next 3 years, endorse products left and right, and kids would call you their hero. Still, others would even claim you are the world’s greatest athlete when you can only do one sport!!
7. I learned no question that Michael Phelps is the world’s greatest swimmer today! He has the most number of medals than any other swimmers in history or any other athlete period! He managed to surpass, Mark Spitz’ 7 Olympic Gold medals and now has 14 Olympic Gold medals total! He holds 7 world records up for challenge in 2012!
6. I learned that in Women’s Gymnastics, you can land on your knees in the Vault and still get a Bronze medal!! You can even be in a tie and lose the Gold, despite the fact that your opponent had more visible errors than you!!
Three Cebu Bloggers responded to the invitation to witness the Goodyear Autocare Launch (EBR-SN TIRE PLAZA) at Maguikay Road, Mandaue City,Cebu in August 28, 2008. Present were McBilly, Winston and X.
We arrived in the location at near 12 nn. We all know that the Eraserheads reunion concert was cut short due to Ely Buendia’s poor health. He was rushed to the hospital just after the first set of songs. I was there at the concert.
Some fans proceeded to the backstage after the Eraserheads staff and the promoter left the venue. They found a piece of paper containing the full set list of what the band would have performed that night.
They are:
I try not to pass up an invite for coffee on any day. Couple that with a trip to a famous mall that I have been longing to go to and I have an excuse to wake up early on a saturday and drive all the way to Trinoma in Quezon City.
It was a glaring hot saturday when my husband and I went for coffee at UCC Cafe Terrace in Trinoma. This is I think the third time I went to UCC. I can clearly remember the two other times I did. One was during an office meeting and another for a team lunch. Both in the Paseo Center branch in Makati. Both times were truly enjoyable and I recall - I thought, expensive.
Ha ha ha! This is interesting.
After squandering public funds, taking advantage of “sanctuary funds,” and enjoying Senate “security funds,” now this guy is turning to the man thrown out of office for gambling “slush funds!”
Ha ha ha!
This guy is not only after fortune and fame. He wants to dip his fingers in Mindanao too! And goes to the president who waged a “total war” in Mindanao.
The place was packed. The gates opened for the public at 3:00 PM and everyone waited patiently for the Eraserheads to play once more. When the timer started counting down everyone just went wild. View the short vid from fritzified.com.
“Land of Bondage, Land of the Free” was a speech delivered by Raul Manglapus as a student in 1939. The translation below by Onofre Pagsanghan of an excerpt from this speech was first published in Makabagong Pilipino (1967). More…
I am not afraid of ghosts. Except when I’m alone. At night. In Cambodia where millions of people died of genocide in the seventies. Last year, when Honey had to go to the Philippines for work for almost two months, he left me in this kingdom far far away where I was alone. At night. In Cambodia where millions of people died of genocide in the seventies.
How did I manage to stop hyperventilating, prevent the hair at the back of my neck from standing up on end, and sleep during all those lonely nights? One, by multiplying my carbon emissions a hundredfold and turning on all the lights in the apartment at night. Two, by turning on the two televisions full-blast. And three, by comforting myself with the fact that my Cambodian landlady keeps a spirit house in an auspicious place right smack in the middle of the entrance of the apartment building.

Our family is moving to a new place in a few months and I have been busy trying to make sure that everything that we have and enjoy now will still be available to us in our new place. This will be a significant step for us because we are sort of leaving our comfort zone.
We have been living in the middle of the city for years now and we have gotten used to all the convenience that brings. There is the 24-hour availability of public transportation, 5 minutes from Makati CBD, 5 minutes from Ortigas CBD, a stone’s throw away from shopping malls, the MRT, and a local wet market. My son is also in the middle of his kindergarten year at his preschool. That means, I would have to transfer him to a new school that is near our new place - assuming the schools there accept transferees.
It’s final! Olympic gold medalist and 10-time world champion “The Golden Boy” OSCAR DE LA HOYA will face current Ring Magazine No. 1-ranked pound for pound champion MANNY “Pacman” PACQUIAO on Saturday, December 6 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada in a bout that will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View. Additionally, the bout is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank, Inc., and will be a 12-round, non-title fight contested at the 147-pound welterweight limit.

In the midst of finger-pointing and the blame game, it’s back to square one for Team Philippines as the debacle in Beijing takes center stage at next week’s sports summit of sports leaders.
I strongly suggest that the country, aka GRP (to align with GB, host of the 2012 Games), concentrate in the following events where I am certain our sports leaders can easily take podium positions:
This time, the Eraserheads reunion concert is not for free anymore. Ticket prices are Php 800 and Php 1,300 (Php 824 and Php 1,334 if you purchase from TicketWorld). You can also buy from selected National Bookstore branches, such as the one in SM Megamall.
The concert will still be held in the Fort Bonifacio open field and will start at 8:00 pm. It’s going to be strict in there. The gates will open at 3:00 pm and will close at 8:00 pm. It’s recommended to bring an ID with you.
Ang sarap talagang matulog. Lalo sa panahong ngayon. Hay! Napakasarap talaga. Mamaluktot, gumulong-gulong, tumambling, mag-cartwheel at gumawa ng miracles sa ilalim ng kumot. Lalo na siguro kung may katabing iniirog sa buhay, oh wow, hello baby after 9 months.
Do you know that Browser War II already started? Safari fired first by leading the implementation of new properties to make designing a website much more easier than before. Guess who’s being left behind? IE of course, but rumours are abound on how IE8 is shaping up to overtake Firefox and Opera.
