In the recently held 2008 Samsung Digital Imaging Roadshow in Manila Hotel, Samsung has unveiled more than 20 new models of products ranging from point and shoot cameras to a full HD camcorder and a DSLR. You read that right. A DSLR complete with a variety of lenses that can suit your camwho-, um, professional and/or personal photography needs (whew, that was close). Kidding aside, think about it. With more than 20 options, an ideal personal solution for each consumers’ unique need may just be well within reach this time. At least in choosing a camera, that is.

Was it that the legacy of some expansions that has been demonstrated in other studies which looked at the genetics of mideastern and northern africana populations. Their signs of recent europa of places to the region are more unusual.
Don’t why I read it, but this bbc news stuff on science was one of my random browsing.
The study focused on the Y, or male, chromosome, a package of material carried only by men that is passed down from father to son more or less unchanged, just like a surname. But over many generations, the chromosome accumulates small changes, or copying errors, in its DNA sequence. These can be used to classify male chromosomes into different groups (called haplogroups) which, to some extent, reflect a person’s geographical ancestry.
The scientist team analysed the Y chromosomes of 926 Lebanese males and found that patterns of male genetic variation in Lebanon fell more along religious lines than along geographical lines. I also came upon ira, of the ira joxbido internet browsing. Which goes to say that I stray from my original browsing further and further. I ended up watching some tv shows of mundane proportions.

Horrors of horrors, that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw a local paper’s front page last Thursday. It carried the news of the destruction of one of Cebu’s oldest churches. The 160-year old Immaculate Conception Parish and its convent in the southern town of Oslob was gutted by fire.
I think that the sun has finally beaten me. Today has been the hottest I have felt this year. It is so hot to the point that I feel feverish. Not a good thing especially if what I am craving for is one of the country’s famous halo halo.
Finally, something related to the Holy Week. We briefly made a pit stop at Manaoag just to be able to do something that was connected to the Lenten traditions. Though I’m not a church person, (In fact I don’t think I’ve practiced my “religion” since the 6th grade.) I prepped my telephoto to snipe some shots.
Talk about mixed signals.

It was a particularly humid day and the many lit candles pushed the candle gallery’s temperatures to uncomfortable levels.

Again as they can to pace through in as much as the hours. The subtext is that different places in few hours so you don’t have to. Why would we have to? They are perhaps talented in their own way but it is they who deserves better forms than this, sums up the problem with his piece well. Places look numbingly the same. As if we are stuck in a loop, a labyrinth, where we keep entering the same place, over and over and over again, a seeing of our reflection in the same multiplying mirrors. Pieces like these are hard to keep selecting a place that contains some inherent.
This coming Tuesday, I shall be off to the land of SARS and Jackie Chan films, Hong Kong, where I shall probably spread my retardery with them Chinamen Hong Kongers Kung Fungese Chinks. But I dunno, I think it’s gonna be hard for me.

But still, I’ll be gone for six days and I’m expecting to have a blast. And by “blast”, I mean “not getting into another stupid embarassing situation that’ll make my familly finally cut all ties with me and will also probably get me deported. To Nigeria.” Read the rest of this entry »

Wala tayong magagawa… ganun talaga ang life. Pero ang hindi ko ma-took ever eh yung ipangalandakan pa ba nitong mga may pera’ng ito na ang laki ng kaibahan nila sa mga poor? Mega-smile, mega-papiktoryal para masabing “in” sila.

I know. It’s already March. But if you’re like me, you’ve probably procrastinated this long (almost) to get your christmas pictures done. (Much less share them with the relatives, ha ha ha).
I’ve been so busy putting up all my websites and getting them going that my digiscrapping had to take a back seat. Since January, I’ve only digiscrapped once and I haven’t even created any give-aways yet. (Altho I’m really aiming on giving you some freebies this weekend, hopefully
But when I was browsing thru my sisters’ kits at Gotta Pixel, I kinda took a fancy to this beautiful Christmas kit. I know I have just the right Christmas photos to go with it.
The pictures I used were all taken last December 24 during our Christmas Eve midnight dinner with the family. We were all gathered at my MIL’s house opening our gifts before we partook of the food. The first LO is about our DD, Madonna, and our dear niece, Pearl. Pearl was wearing her nice red dress we bought for her and she wore when she attended her dad’s Marriott staff Christmas party. Madonna was donned and was going to meet up with her friends that night. This was a cute picture that I really had to create an LO for it.

Too much has been said about this issue of the looming Global Warming. However, aside from using this issue for political and popularity, and maybe, business gain, of some individuals and groups, very little is being done to solve this problem. Read More…
