“I’ve never seen you look like this before.”
My husband stopped by the store where I now work part-time. Fortunately I don’t have to wear a uniform, but we do have to don the company-issued shirt (not bad-looking, and at least it comes in many colors and styles). So there I stood in front of him: powder-blue logo tee layered on top of a white tissue tee with three-quarter sleeves (it’s cold at work, especially when I have to putz around in the freezer), jeans, and sneakers.
He espied the box cutter safely nestled in a holster hanging in my back pocket and the gloves on my hands. I can always read my husband’s mind and at that moment he was thinking: What the hell is she doing here?

So I’ve always wanted to keep a diary, right? I tried it back in high school. Most of my entries were about girls, people that I hated, my parents always trippin’ on me, and more girls. I eventually grew tired of writing journal entries every other month. It was too much work. And it was sorta gay.
I tried it again in college. Using small planners, I jotted down short phrases every day. So in a way, it was written in code that only I, Baddie, can decode. I stopped doing it when my ex-girlfriend got a hold of my cute little planner. She gave me a beating (this is an opening for a hand job joke, but I won’t go there) after seeing all kinds of code names that were obviously for girls. Hey, I’m a friendly guy! Shut up.
I still sort of keep logs of my life by writing blog entries both in this blog and in Face Rockery. But all the tiny details of my everyday life are obviously seeping through the cracks of my Alzheimer’s-esque memory. This is where Twitter comes in.
Effort sya, men, kung tutuusin. Buti na lang na-achieve ko na to. Hehe.
Pero bukod sa mala-Adonis kong katawan, ano pa ba ang seksi para sa akin? Ano ang mga bagay na sa tingin ko ay karapat-dapat tawaging seksi ni Pare?

TO: ALL NEW EMPLOYEES/NEWBIE’S.
FROM: HR Department
RE: FRIENDLY ADVICE FROM YOUR HR DEPARTMENT
Just a friendly reminder to all new employees/newbie’s
HR Department is friendly, but the perception of all of us in HR is evil thus; we are providing you some honest advice from the evil himself. Need to fire someone? HR can do that for you. Do you want to square-off with HR? Still, HR can do that for you. Mind you, our supervisor before asked me to square it off with him outside the company premises just to settle things. I’m no coward (t’was really scary you know) so I accepted his proposal but, I told him not until I’m done writing the incident report. So who’s the chicken now? Anyway, still interested of messing up with HR?
Reminders to all new employees/newbie’s:
1.) The company is not responsible for your motivation. The company can only provide maintainers thus; you should motivate yourself in advance since you brag it to us that you’re a highly motivated individual, so prove it.
2.) The company is not responsible for your growth. Hence, be responsible for your growth, pursue advance studies, specialized trainings etc. at your own expense and good luck.
3.) The company doesn’t just provide any training to newbie’s or to any employees, and don’t question us why, it is because we know the difference of what’s nice to know and what’s needed to know.
4.) Memorize your employee handbook if possible for you not to suffer the consequences of your future undesirable actions.
5.) Do not remind us of your 5th month appraisal because we know our job better than you do.

I have mentioned on my post, Effects of a Long Blogging Hiatus, that once a blogger stops uploading posts on their blogs, their blogs will eventually deteriorate and end up in a slow and painful death.
Like I said, No new posts = Dead Blog.
But fear not, the effects of our negligence can still be undone. Though it may seem a difficult task, it is not actually impossible. It would be like starting out with a new blog all over again, the only difference is that you are not just going to look for NEW readers, but also look and win back the approval of the old ones.
Here are some of the steps that I have thought up that would help bring our blogs back to its former health and growth. Feel free to make use of these tips on your blog:
Sale here… sale there… you can definitely feel that Christmas is near as this is also the season when most stores are on sale. No surprise there since most employees get their 13rth month pay and bonuses as early as November for the yuletide season.
If you are looking for a laptop, want an MP3 player or plans on having a wireless network at home then get ready, the Microwarehouse year end sale is back! Just like last year, items will be on sale now up to 90% off!

Sad to say, ito po ang lagay ng ating bayan (This is the state of our nation). As President Arroyo quoted in one of her speeches, public service is a public trust. But when the trust is gone, the people have no choice but to take it to the streets… Click here and continue reading…
By Zorabelle Fran Uy and Balbino “Ka Bino” Guerrero
This article was written by Zorabelle Fran Uy, a UP Cebu Masscom student, based on interviews by Balbino “Ka Bino”Guerrero of Narcisa Requinto and Barangay captain Fernando “Nanding” Requento of Tagjaguimit, Naga City.
A clan in this new city at the southern crossroads of Metro Cebu still carries on a long lost tradition that puts an original twist in the door-to-door Christmas caroling that we know today
Known in Naga City as the Pastores, they are town carolers composed of family members of the Requinto clan who stage the Bible’s narration of the shepherds’ search for the baby Jesus coined Los Pastores.
I’m dedicating this post to all the bloggers who greeted me on my birthday: Austin Pinoy, Buraot, Jego, PMonchet, Grifter, Techguy, An, Manilenya, MommyBa, Mari, JC Smith, I hope you learn something from this post.
This is a really strange optical illussion. Stare at the black dot in the middle of the photo. Do you see the baby?

So I opened my web browser and visited my blog and I realized that it’s been quite a few days since my last entry. It’s pretty weird, because as everyone and their grandmother knows, I go online like every day, bugging busy people like Baddie for their WordPress plugins. But it seems like I haven’t done too much blogging lately.
Yeah, my brain sucks like that. Also, I think my creativity has already walked out on me, along with my will to live. Also, I’ve been lazy- awesomifically lazy- even to read blogs. Read the rest of this entry »

Well, di naman kasi mapapagkaila na kadalasan nga sa mga parties and night outs ay mga beautiful people. 10,999,999 Missing!
Where are they? This is the common question being thrown at Sen. Trillanes after his failed coup attempt lately.
This is his second attempt to overthrow PGMA of which only lasted 7 hours. What happened? Where are his supporters? Where are those 10,999,999 who voted him for a seat at the senate? Are they tired of his rhetoric’s and ideals? What was then the reason why this almost 11 million voted him a seat? Were the Filipino’s being deceived by his promises or they’re promises? Or the Filipino’s were just being desperate for a radical change that is why they adhere to these idealists.
On one hand, some suggested why not just go to prison and write a book for him not to include others? Well, we don’t need Rizal anymore in this portable generation where people are getting smarter everyday, where people are confident of themselves, and people don’t rely to our governments’ initiatives just to become somebody. We’re just damn too confident and contented that the government has done their part and now it’s our time to execute our part i.e. survive. And to them, they’ve realized that doing writing a book is not effective anymore effective, a waste of time and nobody can hear them. They wanted to be heard! We’ve been hearing you years ago but were not listening anymore. As to why, you’re dreaming!
I was taking a break from work this afternoon and was blog-hopping when I stumbled upon http://onlovinganimals.blogspot.com, a blog that posted a story about a pit bull named “Chief” who defended his human guardians with his life.
It happened right here in the Philippines, in Cagayan de Oro, early this year so I can’t believe I didn’t hear about it in the news. Did any of you? The story is so striking I was fighting off tears while reading it. I kind of failed when I reached the last paragraph.

Trillanes rushed to the Pen hoping to rouse sleepy citizens. And instead of successfully removing PGMA from office, he failed. So much has been said and is still being said about the event and yet most of us already know the conclusion. Gloria will remain in power. Unless.
One “weakness” of the Eee PC if its running its stock Xandros OS is its inability to automatically connect to your “trusted” networks. Here’s how to configure the Eee so it automatically connects to multiple wifi networks.
