A good friend recently announced with not-quite-mock-horror that my blog has been linked up to many salacious sites, something which has repeatedly worried him these past few years. I looked up at him angelically, smiled warmly and sighed, “Well I really haven’t been writing about sex recently.”

The 13th ASEAN Summit will be held in Singapore from 18-22 November 2007. The Singapore-based broadsheet The Straits Times conducted a poll among ASEAN member nations’ students on their knowledge on the 40-year old regional organization. A total of 521 responses were obtained to the eight-point questionnaire by local schools in five main ASEAN capitals Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Singapore. This is only the second The Strait Times AsiaPoll survey related to ASEAN.

Victorino Mapa High School in Manila is one of the participant institutions. Some of the institutions which took part requested anonymity.

I don’t mind link and fave exchanges (I need them actually), but I’ll probably skip the digg and stumble exchanges because they make me feel like a spammer.

I’m skipping RSS feed exchanges too. I’m neck-deep in feeds already, and I don’t see the point in subscribing to blogs that don’t consistently grab my interest. As a blogger, people subscribing to your feed makes you giddy, and knowing that some of those subscribers were “forced” takes out the fun. Besides, how can you keep track if someone you exchanged feed with really subscribed to your blog?

I am thankful for the day my friend taught me how to shave. Although maintenance is a pain, the benefits are endless.

It was also a good thing, I was in the states when I was first learning how to do it right. They have all the nice tools you can use there to make a newbie lose all apprehension.

They have razors whose blades were covered with wires so that the blades do not come in contact directly with your skin. They have shaving cream, shaving foam, shaving gel. The skintimate brand came in cool colors of pink, lavender, blue and green. Now who wouldn’t be motivated with that?
