A photography competition entitled “Everyday Islam” has been launched to depict Muslim life in the Philippines, following the example set by UK-based and internationally renowned photographer and Muslim convert Peter Sanders.
The competition aims to popularise shared aspirations and concerns of Muslims and non- Muslims, in order to promote integration and counter messages that tend to emphasise discord and differences.

When everybody starts raving about a certain movie before I get the chance to see it, I strangely lose interest in seeing it in the theaters. Weird, but it’s the truth. Is it because I like watching movies at home more than I do in the theaters? Maybe. Is it because I hate sharing the same room with idiots who can’t stop talking about how excited they are about the movie because the Internet says it’s cool? Possibly. I don’t know. One thing’s for certain, though: everybody’s done with their “THIS. IS. SPARTAAA!!!” phase, but I’m just starting with mine. HA-OOH! HA-OOH!

How the treasury of the 1898 republic vanished - continuation:
“Sevilla continues to describe how the money was hidden :
(Sevilla, 163-164)

TV and print do not do justice to Piolo Pascual’s beauty. He looks even more handsome without the aid of lighting, styling or makeup. In a plain setting (though there was nothing plain about the Hyatt Casino Hotel’s presidential suite, where we did the interview and pictorial), with early-afternoon natural light bathing his features, it was easy to see why Mr. Pascual’s soft, elusive beauty has inspired the most frenzied forms of attention and speculation in this gossipy town.
I was in the room with him because I got asked to do a cover feature on Mr. Pascual for the September 2007 issue of Metro Him magazine…

Multi-Currency support in e-Commerce websites is very important for those looking to target international sales, and many customers during their shopping used to check external currency converters to know the price displayed in their own currency (I personally use Google). Dynamic Converter provides you the solution so your visitors can have all prices in their own currency without leaving your website. I find the solution very interesting especially that it provide supports to all shopping carts and have a very easy integration via a simple JavaScript that you’ll include in your website.
I have reviewed many currency converters available in the internet and i have narrowed it down to three: Read More …
