Amusing… Hehehe.
Looks like an 80′s movie made in India. Check it out!

Jealous of some barangays with sudden appearances of huge pythons? Well, if you have the need to see not only but three huge ones — to caress, fondle, and even wrap around your neck. There is a cool place in Manila to do so.
Within the lush confines of the Orchidarium live three huge pythons. They are brothers. When brought there for the first time so as to be kept as pets, each one was no longer than a yard. Now, however, they measure about fifteen feet in length and requires at least three handlers for each one to be carried.
They sleep all day intertwined against one another for warmth or something, and only become active at night–crawling around in their caged pit. Sometimes during the daytime, one of them is brought out and displayed for a visiting group to view, fondle, or placed on top of one’s shoulders, for a photograph. Undoubtedly, this is done only when they are full; not hungry and upset.
Neither are they brought out for the public to ogle at when they are shredding off their skin, for it is supposed to be a rather unpleasant process much like a woman going through PMS.
Our home may be imperfect, but it is OUR home. Our country maybe filthy, but boy is it filthy beautiful.
Maybe it’s the beer that did me in.
Thursday was pretty eventful than usual. Power went out at around 4:30PM while I was returning comments from my previous posts. I almost kicked the computer with frustration. I was feeling like being a good commenter that time, but Meralco just had to spoil the mood. I told my brother to call them and find out what was going on. Three hours later, they still came up with the lame-o answer, “We still don’t know what caused the outage, but rest assured that we’re doing everything we can to fix the problem.”
Fine. Whatever. I’m nice naman eh. Just wondering why our street was the only dark one in the area. Yeah, only our street.
We went out a couple of minutes after my mom arrived and met with my father in Mindanao Avenue. Dad said he knows this place owned by a famous and one of the best actors in the country, Joel Torre.
[To the TODAY editors, June 1995]: “Thank you for publishing the incredibly homophobic, galactically stupid letter of one Cris Villahermosa II expressing the ‘waves of loathing and revulsion’ he felt over Gerard Ramos’ apparent penchant for what’s ‘in between Mel Gibson’s legs.’ Allow me to answer him in kind…”
The letter got published a day after I faxed it to the paper.
And just like that, I was out–never to return to that horrid closet. If you’d like to hear the story of what led me, at 25 years old, to finally kick the door open and write this enraged letter, tune in to Part 1 of our new Troika podcast. Migs and McVie also share their own “volt-out” stories.

EXT: BUS STOP – Afternoon
While Tanya waits for her next bus to Capitol Hill to see her husband, she sees a black homeless dude standing about 10 feet away.
BHD: (to everyone in sight) Hey! You got twenty dollars? No? How bout twenty-five?
Black Homeless dude starts walking towards that people waiting for their buses. Tanya looks away hoping he would skip her. She hoped too late.
With all the promos Cebu Pacific had last 2006, it’s pretty hard to avoid not booking through them at least once. Their acquisition of brand new Airbus A319’s, enabled them to offer flights to more regional destinations, which in turn gave more Filipinos options for cheap travel both domestically and overseas.
I flew with them twice last year: to Cebu and to Bacolod, both originating in Manila. Back then Cebu Pacific was still giving out free bottles of C2 Iced tea. I hear that they’ve stopped giving them out this year (to the dismay of Pinoy travelers who are used to freebies). I wonder if they still have their fun games.
happy anniversary mylab.
ngayon lang ata tayo nag celebrate ng anniversary natin ng naka bakasyon. all throughout our marriage, either nagtatrabaho tayo or walang masyadong pera para makalabas. it’s about time.
iniisip ko nga, it’s a far cry from when we started (heto na naman ako sa litanya ko) - kinasal ng walang pera sa munisipyo ng kalookan city, reception sa jollibee, walang singsing, ang nag witness lang ay dalawang kaibigan at yung assistant ng ministro, walang honeymoon at back to work na the next day. kung may nagsabi sa akin na after 16 years, you will be celebrating your anniversary in palm springs eh baka natawa ako ng malakas. but here we are, BWAHAHAHA (tawang demonyo), and i am so pleased because we’ve gone a long way.

have been out of circulation and out of it lately that I havent been able to publish my thoughts and ideas as often as I would like.
But I am back and hopefully this “back” is permanent. On top of my list of priorities is to make sure I write about my own “Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2007” – a project by Janette Toral.
Have we become a nation accustomed to stealing, lying, corrupt and law-breaking politicians? Have we lost the ability to be outraged over recurring commission of crimes by greedy and evil politicians?

When I was in Grade 4 in St. Joseph’s College and went to the clinic for our annual medical examination, the nurse weighed me and jotted down 90 lbs. on my record. Exactly a year after, when I was in Grade 5, I went back to the clinic and the nurse jotted down 100 lbs.. Another year and I was in Grade 6, the nurse jotted down 110 lbs..
Oh my goose neck! So goes the story of my life… I was but a child when I started gaining ten pounds a year. And when Pining mentioned the female bloggers who blogged about the battle of the bulge, it’s embarassing to note that I was the only one who hasn’t gotten pregnant yet.

I have been thinking about friends lately. I guess I am just grateful I have my friends to cheer me up. Yeah, being single (after more than 4 years) isn’t so bad. I haven’t even had an “emo moment” and never had a chance to cry. What’s there to cry about when I have my friends to lean on to, right? Oh well, there is a time for everything. The transition is a bit difficult but I can get through this.

The Galaxy is one of the few surviving buildings designed by National Artist Pablo Antonio, Sr. It is of Art Moderne design, an architectural style that came about in the 1930s along with Art Deco. Most of the movie theater along Avenida Rizal during the ’50s and ’60s boasted such designs in answer to America’s Hollywood and Broadway.
Sadly, the Galaxy’s present owners are planning to demolish it in order to construct a 22-story condominium on its site.

Philippines – Was the Lauging Stock of Asia, Now Getting the Last Laugh
The tide is now turning…
The Philippines, the old joke went, is the country of the future – and always will be. Now, with the stock market at a 10-year high, a slew of equity offerings and an increasing number of investors boarding Manila-bound flights, the joke is looking a little dated.

Sir Andrew dela Serna — yes, yes, the one who made Ratified.org — has tagged me. I think I’m beginning to be a favorite pawn of people who don’t have anyone else to ‘tag, but then, I really don’t mind. Much. Hmm.
Anyway, the culprit of the meme I’m about to answer is none other than the SEO extraordinaire Marc Macalua. He asks the meme victims what 3 signs they see happening now that make them shout out, “It feels great to be Pinoy!”
I’ve been hoping to watch a lot of concerts with the arrival of summer. Here’s some from my list.
