Have you ever been dreaming to get more traffic on your website? Well, I do! It’s been 3 months since I launched my personal website: www.writinerary.com. But I’m not getting much traffic to my site. I’ve been serious in promoting the site in all the possible ways. Joined blogger sites that maintain statistics to those who visits the site. I’m not really that techy, but just want to have my own personal website and I want to share it to the rest of the world!

I learned many things from popular tags and traffic. I’m a member of Technorati. I’m hoping to be popular soon.

How do I get more traffic at Technorati? I have learned about Ultimate Tag Warrior. Thanks to the Wrong advices site entry. I’m conscious about ranking but I’m still on the 844,839 rank in Technorati as of April 03, 2006. But of course, I envy others who are on the top. Just want to get noticed in this big industry of cyberspace! Blogging is the new trend of earning today! I just want to be in! Would you?

With regard to content, I’m trying to make sensible ones! Or even target popular content that people is searching! Hard work is needed to know what those contents are. I’m still into the study process of the niche. Of course, I think it is important.

Enough of that “incident”. Nobody ever wanted that to happen. Be it the organizers, proxies, finalists, nominees and bloggers who went there for the historic event. Yup, it was historic in its own right. That was the first Philippine Blog Awards, wasn’t it? So it should automatically go down in the Philippine Blogging History books. And the organizers, sponsors, judges, nominees, finalists, volunteers, hosts and Pinoy Bloggers from around the globe made that happen. Shouldn’t you be proud if you were there or participated as history unfolded?

Because having a rocking body and being rich is not enough reason to go on living, Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry divulged that she indeed considered committing suicide. In an article on People.com, it says:

“Berry, 40, admits to Parade magazine that she tried to gas herself when her fiery union to Atlanta Braves baseball star David Justice collapsed, but pulled out at the last minute.”

Say what? She tried to gas herself? She wanted to kill herself with gas? Can’t imagine what that’s like? Allow me to help you visualize what Ms. Halle would’ve done.

It’s so freakin’ hot. Seriously. Cheryl Cosim said this morning that today, the temperature could reach 37 degrees Celsius. I suck at Science so I’ll just have to assume that that temperature is hot. Scorching even.

I always think hard before I decide to take a cigarette break during work. If I smoke, I’d have to endure the heat on my face, the sun on my bare head, and the stink of perspiring fellow smokers. I smoke anyway since I’m a slave to the nicotine. Feh.

This summer, there are only two options for me to keep myslef cool: the beach and white-hot ladies in bikinis, or an air-conditioned room, with a bunch of comics. If only life was that simple. *sigh*

What’s fun with the intense heat, though, is that when things get hot enough, you start to see things that aren’t really there. A mirage. It fucks with your brain. It changes your perspective. It gives you the hope of finding an oasis. Most of the time, you get disappointed. But sometimes, when you least expect it, you get surprised. There it is. Something real out of something that’s supposedly just bullshit.

It’s quite different for me to join new blogs every time..I’ll admit that I’m more comfortable with forums. But I guess it’s the time and generation wherein people want to control their own pages (and for free). And so I suppose blogging is really an advantage.

So enough of that crappy and nonsensical start…

I’m 17, in college, and in dire need of extra income..reason? I just want to save something up for emergency cases – e.g. I forgot my disecting scalpel in BIOLAB. So it’s kinda hard to get all my budget from my “baon” alone, leaving out my necessities. For a teen like me who’s not rich, but not that oh-so-poor-i-need-to-have-a-scholarship-or-i-can’t-study kind of way…Whoah..

So onto business, wait, before business; I just want to clear that am not using this blog to just sell…I just wanna write stuff of everyday living. But to make it more productive, probably a little selling wouldn’t hurt.

The house where distant relatives go when they visit Pampanga is the house that my grandpa owned until he left us last September, but now I don’t know who exactly owns it now. That house is very old, older than my grand father. I haven’t seen concrete evidences that gave me the exact year when the house was built. But looking at the structures, the house looks like it was built a century ago or even centuries. I have this theory that it was built during the time when the Spaniards colonized the country though it may sound implausible.
