This film is a result of the collective effort of some of the greatest movie-makers today: Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg.
I’ve never gotten excited of seeing a movie like this since The Matrix Reloaded.
Probably because I grew up watching on TV the Autobots, Decepticons, Dynobots and Constructicons clash for world domination. When I learned they were starting to make a film about the Transformers last year, I realized how hardcore a Transformers fan I was that I even blogged about it.
I was working on my stuff today when my hubby turned the TV to ETC and goodness me, there is this new (or am I way behind?) reality show that aims to look for the next member of the Pussycat Dolls.
Apparently, several girls will be chosen from thousands who will audition… live together, practice together, perform together… catfights, hair-pulling, whining, and backstabbing expected… LOL
Reminds me of Rockstar INXS and Rockstar Supernova… But you would have to agree that the Rockstar competition is hugely different.
If you’re Catholic, what better way to spend Easter Sunday than to go to a silent, serene, holy place away from the noisy city where you can just meditate and contemplate on life.
Below are some pictures that were taken at the beautiful and secluded Marian Orchard in Malabanan, Balete in Batangas.
It is not so famous among city dwellers that its visitors are mostly locals who have come to love the place. I, for one, was captivated by it the first time Mi Amore took me here:
To kick off this relaunch, I’m letting everybody get a sneak listen to my favorite FMD song, Ding. Or, as most people know it by, the Nora song. http://guitarblog.cosgayon.net/single-song-breakdown/ssb-ding-the-nora-song/

Was wondering myself yesterday while driving back from work….As a man thinks,How do I feel about myself? And how do you feel about yourself? Ask anyone that question & you would probably be getting a lot of negative feedbacks.
now that you’ve had your vacations [5 days, eh??], it is now back to the grind, back to work, and back to dealing with all your problems in life… me? i stayed home and blog hopped all that 5 days, played RO, the wife and I were invited for a tasting, and we played a few rounds of badminton with Baddicts! last Saturday… suffice it to say that we took advantage of a traffic-free Manila…
Raven thinks this guy wants to marry her. Problem is, they’ve only met for 5 days. How can you marry someone you know in 5 days, and she’s too stubborn to believe in love at first sight.

Before you even decide to live in Taiwan, take it from those who has. Raven summarizes 16 things that drive her crazy about Taiwan. She takes hello kitty 28-year olds, can’t swim Tawianese, the V-sign, and too much practicality to the next level.

One of the things that I always tell blog newbies about is the importance of backups. Having a backup is one thing and having a regular backup is another. This is especially true for database backups. Since data in your database is dynamic and continually changes, your backup may not always be up to date so you need to do backups regularly.
There’s a new service in town called BackupMyBlog. I don’t think I need to tell you what it’s for since the name says it all. How does it work? Here’s more information about this new service.
Most people find it hard to believe that I don’t have a TV, that I haven’t watched TV at home for two years.
And I don’t miss it.
Several years ago, I couldn’t imagine life without TV. I remember being sad when the TV broke down, and the relief I felt when it was repaired.
Then I just found myself going home at 6pm, turning the TV on, looking up at the wall clock only to find out that it was way past midnight. Night after night. I always got that “what the fuck happened?” feeling.
I watched TV. That was what happened. What a huge waste of time.
My site has existed for more than two years, but I didn’t feel comfortable calling myself a blogger. Because aside from dishing out stupid posts, I didn’t have a clue on what’s going on in the Pinoy blogosphere. I saw only a teeny-weeny piece of the pie.
The higher-water mark, so to speak, of Socialist literature is W.H. Auden, a sort of gutless Kipling. — George Orwell
It’s true I did call him a pompous ass, which I thought pretty mild in the circumstances. ‘Ignorant’ and ’semi-literate’ are dunces’ caps he has skilfully fitted on his own head. I wouldn’t dream of removing them. — Salman Rushdie, of John Le Carre
My God, Edna, you look almost like a man. — Noel Coward, to Edna Ferber
So do you. — Edna Ferber, replying to Noel Coward

What’s Good, can SAVE your SMILE & Coming very soon to the Philippines?
Entry for March 16, 2007
Spiffies is coming to the Philippines! It will be introduced first at the Philippine Dental association’s 99th Annual Convention this May 2007. See you there? If you can visit me at the Trade & Exhibit booth, I’ll be handling out brochures with an attached sample of Spiffies.
Spiffies is a novel toothwipe with xylitol, that is safe & backed up by a clinical study that concludes – with continued usage,of course – it really prevents dental caries. It can be used by babies, kids & adults alike. It is made in the USA, as developed by an American pediatrician, whose wife is such a very nice lady.
As a mom to a toddler and an infant, I had the chance to be introduced to the product during my kids’ pedodontist visit. My kids, like all other kids that I know, just love using the product, even asking me for it. – My kids do love toothbrushing & flossing their teeth, but I do use Spiffies on them as an extra treat – and because it has xylitol (Here comes, the being a Dr. part) I came to appreciate what the benefits are. Ever wonder why there are xylitol chewing gums, mouthwash & xylitol incorporated toothpastes too? I even found a nasal wash with xylitol. Xylitol also has been long used as a food additive coz it is a flavor enhancer & also used as a sugar substitute among the diabetics.
So what is Xylitol? It is a 5-carbon sugar, unlike the usual 6-carbon sugar which the oral bacterial flora can consume as food, siempre naman pag hindi sila pwedeng source of energy ng oral bacteria, those bacteria can’t thrive – kaya bawas ang tooth decay – with continued use of xylitol. Ano naman ang adverse effects? (Do I dare discuss this? First let me say, I’m not claiming to be a xylitol expert – nakapagaral lang po) Ingestion of large amounts of xylitol can cause osmotic diarrhea, that’s what they observed.
Pasalamat lang & my baby is so fast asleep, coz he tried to evade his nap time. Wait! I have to go and wipe his 8 teeth after his sugary snack/meal – I give him nothing but the best… breastmilk! He doesn’t mind me wiping his mouth with Spiffies, even in his sleep…
