In the tradition of posts about reality artista search dudes doing really stupid things, enter Fred Payawan. Fred who? Panopio? No! Payawan.
According to a PEP article bluntly titled Fred Payawan Admits He Is Still A Virgin, apparently that Fred person was in DJ Mo Twister’s “Forbidden Questions” segment and, you guessed it, he admitted that his pee-pee has remained untouched—by another person/woman/man/animal.
For the past weeks, I had a very slow connection (again). Since I’m on a SmartBro connection, this case is not new. Instead of wasting my time calling their costumer service, and waiting for their worst after sales support. No, I made a few attempts to call them actually, but it seemed that I could not “catch” any representative because only a voice prompt answers my calls.
So, I tried to resort to other means that I thought could speed up my PC. I downloaded some internet booster software, which didn’t work. I also tried to run several browsers, thinking that Mozilla Firefox no more works for faster browsing on my PC. I even tried to install the latest version of Fasterfox, a Firefox extensions which tweaks some of the browser’s configuration for faster browsing. I cleaned up my hard disk, deleting all the unused files, including some of my mp3 collections. I’ve deleted almost 1000 mp3 files, which I regretted after. I patiently downloaded some of them when I was still on a dial-up connection. None of these things worked.
Here’s J-Rock band Malice Mizer with the video for the song Beast of Blood. Check it out. It’s pretty neat. Kinda reminds me of Count D from the manga/anime Pet Shop of Horrors. I’m such a sucker for bands with visual gimmicks.

After a month of holiday, we are back in Istanbul. I was expecting spring to have arrived in the city but when we got here last Saturday, it was all cloudy and humid! I guess spring is a bit late in coming but I really don’t mind since we just had our share of sun and warmth back in Asia.
According to my observations, the people of Davao are fond of two things: to drink and to dine. People here are not much into party dancing and disco, coudn’t appreciate the taste of San Mig Light and still could live without cups of Starbucks coffee.
Davao’s coffee culture is a bit different from what Starbucks, Seatle’s Best and Figaro have created in metropolitan Manila. In Manila, we all know that a day is not a day without starbucks for the coffeeholics. If it’s a break, it’s certainly hopping inside this cozy cafe. A few stores already sprouted like Blugre, Bo’s, Figaro at Chime’s, Coffee Dream, Karl’s Koffee, K1, Kasagingan cafe and Coffee Pod. Going to these coffee shops is to have a meeting, to access wi-fi specially, a treat to yourself, a let’s try this place and on the other hand, to feel like a socialite (read: brag your laptop)…

Last December, I signed up for an account at My Journal Philippines. I posted a couple of non-sense articles on my MJP blog, and I don’t think I won’t be able to update it in the foreseeable future. God knows I’m having a hard time right now updating this blog.
On that note, I’m going to post one of my stupid articles from my MJP blog here. Why? Having a hard time blah blah blah.
I wrote this piece after my first night out for 2007. I went out with several college friends, and we had a great time at Metrowalk. Where there’s electricity. See, during that time, we had no electricity at the apartment. One of the reasons why I went back to commuting from Sta. Rosa to Ortigas and back every freakin’ day. We’re still in the first quarter, but 2007’s memorable already.
So anyway, here it is. It’s in Tagalog. And it’s corny. But whatever.
Please visit my new blog. Its all about the fun, the troubles, and most of all…the adventure of growing up in Cebu City, The Queen City of the South, in the Pearl of the Orient Seas. Here’s an excerpt from one of the first posts, about making my own Starblades as a little kid:
Remember when you were a kid, and when you watched those Kung-Fu and Karate movies? Remember after the movie when you would try to imitate the super-cool Kung-Fu moves? All these Kung-Fu and Karate movies were cool, but sometime in the mid-80′s a new kind of martial arts movie style became popular. The Ninjas had invaded our Betamaxes! Ninjas…highly trained masked assassins, armed to the teeth with all sorts of fantastic weaponry… [READ MORE]
And as he bends down to kiss me, he whispers to my ear “I love you hunny, sleep well.”
I wrote a little piece a few days ago on what one web designer did when he wasn’t paid. This was the result. Do you digg the story?
Has it been four days already?! Wow. I have been much of a slacker (when it comes to updating my blog) during the past few days because of some unforeseen events (like youtube giving me crap when I try to post vids in my blog). If not for the great Misteryosa, who btw has lightning finger and brain processing speed (she reads other people’s blogs while writing her post), reminding me to update my blog I wouldn’t even be in front of my PC right now
Dear Aussie, When you come from a city like Manila, living in your country can be quite a culture shock in that there is no ‘shock.’ Click here to read.
Last weekend, our team went on our annual summer outing. As most other companies do, a beach resort almost always is involved in the trip.
I am not here though to share with you the bikini lines, the sunburns, the ocean blue or the white sand of the resort that we went to. I would rather share an interesting experience with the food that was served to us by the resort.
It seems that technology is catching up with the 2007 elections. No, the elections will not be automated. It is more of technology playing a role in campaigning and awareness.

every male [yes, including me], have at one time or another envied the package of the next man… we sneak a look at that bulge, and wished we have the same… or when we watch porno movies and we loook at the penises of known male porno stars Ron Jeremy, Mr Marcus, or the ever-famous-with-women-who-love-butt-plugs Peter North, men cringe when they do not measure up to these porno stars’ baggages… the length and the width are our main points of comparison…
I just want to share this YouTube video i found. This is for all those who love YouTube.
