NO, I don’t mean the Java virtual machine which allows you to run Java applications on any operating system (OS). I mean virtual machines that can run unmodified operating systems on top of the existing one.

This day is my 44th day as a Test Engineer in an Electronics Manufacturing Services company at Cebu, Philippines. Everyday is an awkward and intimidating day at work dealing with brilliant professionals and engineers. At an age of 22, this has been the second company of my career; who have once worked as a Piping Design Engineer in a Plant Design company, still here in Cebu. So far, I have not been able able to really adapt with the working environment. My previous company is way too different with my current one. In here, pressure is more intense, considering the fact that I am working with the best minds in my engineering field. Of all my bosses here, it is Sir Jun and Sir Gilbert that gave the feeling of intimidation. This is the first time of my life that I became scared of even greeting somebody a “Good Morning”, a “Good Evening”, or a “Goodbye Sir”. This is the first time of my life that I have felt intense inferiority. Me being always a proud guy since college, who is always fond of talking
has now become a silent mouth.

Come to terms with these realities and questions:

Within 50 years, we will have fresh water shortage.
Why are we having typhoons and hurricanes of magnitudes never seen before?
What will happen to land masses when the glaciers in the North and South Pole melt?

Using it the first time was a bit of a challenge because I like the full control of an all manual vintage SLR’s and all manual features Panasonic LX-1.
