Bleeding hearts, don’t even attempt to read this post — I’m just being brutally honest in my opinion here.
A short review of Blogger Beta. If you are a GMail user, its worth to give it a spin!
An information security personnel’s worst nightmare…

Better stock up on Bonamine before getting this for your kid!
whoah! i can consider this day as a very amzing day. why? well, i just don’t know. all i know is that I discovered a lot of things! i have discovered that today is the birthday of my mother(how stupid) but I greeted her but i just sent her a sms through her phone because for me it is too shameful to say it personally. i just got loaded(unlimited text) and that’s another discovery, hehehe!well, i think i should go because it is time for my next class. right now i am at our mschool’s internet laboratory just to post my post.til then!

The event started as scheduled and I was immediately captivated by the performance of the first group, and then eventually by the rest. Their cheerful faces on these photographs were unlike the demeanor they possessed during their respective performance. These young people seemed like seasoned stage artists with attitude filled with heart and soul. I was very much impressed, indeed; in fact, teary-eyed at some point. They were simply amazing.
Two new flashdrives that pushes the proverbial envelope.
The Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF; National Language Commission) has a poster, a few photos and a list of winners. Other government agencies have a few press releases. Is it any wonder that traditional media did not take much notice of Buwan ng Wika (Language Month)?
I hope this seeming disregard for the event is not an indication of the (ir)relevance of Filipino as a language, but it’s a good thing more than a few bloggers wrote about what happened this past month.

“A couple of hundred years ago, Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret of his success. “Never leave that until tomorrow”, he said, “which you can do today.” This is the man who discovered electricity. You think more of us would listen to what he had to say. I don’t know why we put things off. But if I had to guess, it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of pain, fear of rejection. Sometimes the fear is just of making a decision because, what if you’re wrong, what if you’re making a mistake you can’t undo.”
What is unique and alarming in the Philippines is the growing number of environmental refugees and internally displaced persons caused by environmental disasters and armed conflict.
We are a proud nation. We produce beauty queens, boxing champs, supermaids and honest taxi drivers. But we seem to have barely noticed that we are slowly becoming a refugee nation.

I planned this blog with the intention of posting absolutely original stories, but I saw this post on another Filipino blogger’s site (Anthology of…) and I just couldn’t resist posting it. A lot of these statements, I was going to write about. But, I might as well post them for you to see now. They are absolutely hilarious and true.
The Philippines is a country of paradoxes. Actors create policies, and politicians create drama. Students spend more money in school than what they will make at their jobs after graduation. And the honking of jeepeneys? One day, I would like to buy a megaphone, but a loud “beeper” and go to every jeepney driver and just beep the shit out of them right to their ears. How do you like the beeping now?

In response to this.
I, for one, don’t believe that artists have the right to make mistakes. Oh no. A mistake is an error… an unconscious lapse of judgment. I believe that mistakes are inexcusable in any work of art. An artist is responsible for the entirety of his work and if said work is replete with errors it merely shows the quality of the artist. When a writer, for instance, publishes his work (whether in print or online) and expects people to read it, he immediately becomes a target. His mistakes become the ammunition with which his critics will assault him. Typo error? Okay, we can let that pass as long as you fix it. If you can’t fix it, or cannot recognize what to fix in the first place, then it’s not a typo error. It’s a mistake.
What an artist is entitled to, however, is breaking the rules.
I’M GOAN BREAK YO FACE IF YOU DON’T CLICK THIS, MUDDAFOKKER!
Brace yourselves for another “syobisss” invasion on the elections next year.
Another disgrace is the squabble in Philippine basketball. Two competing basketball bodies in the country are washing their dirty linen in the world stage.
At the on-going FIBA world championships in Japan, a side court battle is being waged between the Basketball Association of the Philippines and Pilipinas Basketball.
This is terrible and a total disgrace.
Another proof of what former priest Orlando Carvajal described as a nation of cheats!
