I had a lot of time to kill before picking up my daughters at their dorm yesterday. I knew about the Fil Negosyo Expo 2006 at the 5th floor Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall starting on June 23 till July 2, 2006 . My curiosity got the better of me. What are the latest small business ventures that one can enter to these days? I wanted to see if some existing businesses could complement my ecommerce plans. A quick glance at the booths showed that most of the business ventures didn’t need a lot of capital. continue reading here
On Sunday, 2 July 2006… Traffic in the country will stop, the crime rate will go down to zero for a few hours, and even those who don’t like boxing will know that the fight is going on. If you’re a Filipino or just interested in the fight, check out the following sites…
Many thought that it is a loss for MERALCO if it gave-up its large consumers with a power consumption of 1 MW or more (and allow them to have a freedom to choose its own power supplier) since a big chunk of its consumers are industrial and commercial users which utilize power of more that 1 MW. Storms come and visit us now and again. They are an inescapable part of ourr lives. They may be relational or financial in nature. They may take the form of health problems. They may mean the death of a loved one. In the midst of these trials, Jesus stands by us.

I can’t believe it. I was basically ignorant as to what happened to MaSci [Manila Science High School] after we left. But I had no idea that things have gotten that bad! What the hell happened?

Whew! The first half of the 2006 is already nearing its end. And Looking back at the events of the past 6 months, I can safely say that it’s the worst 6 months of my life. It’s practically my own life’s version of the Dark Ages! Haha! But the past week, I feel like my own Renaissance had started ushering in.
There’s some things that I regret
Some words I wish had gone unsaid
Some starts that had some bitter endings
Been some bad times I’ve been through
Damage I cannot undo
Some things I wish I could do all all over again
Whoever wrote this song for Carrie Underwood, must’ve known what I’ve been through the past 6 months! Haha! There’s no better way of saying what I went through – the regrets, the bitter endings, the bad times, the damage WE cannot undo and even the things I wish I could do all all over again! Haha! Perfect!
In about two hours, Ka Satur and wife Ka Bobbie are set to arrive in Geneva to the warm embrace and cheers from members of Migrante International-Switzerland chapter. I am sure Ka Satur will go straight to work, to perhaps frantically reschedule meetings with human rights monitors and fellow parliamentarians who have all expected to see him earlier this week.
Frankly, I did not expect Ka Satur to be able to go to Geneva last night. Yes, he secured a permit from the Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 57. Yes, the Supreme Court has issued a status quo order against the justice department. But I was truly convinced that the Arroyo regime would move heaven and earth to stop Ka Satur from leaving Manila and taking his just cause to Geneva.

I said it again and again and again, Real-Money Trading or RMT is here to stay, and the latest online gaming company to accept it is Level Up! Philippines. According to Sheila Paul, Chief Operating Officer of Level Up! Philippines,
The online game community has become so organic and so diverse that it would be hard to control people from going beyond the bounds of game rules. It’s not cheating anymore because everyone is doing it already and it’s becoming beneficial for everyone.”
We’ve finally finished the migration of PinoyBlog from Expression Engine to WordPress 2.0. All user database have been successfully imported. We’re now ready to beta test the new site.
Here are some guides to remember:
Or what I would have titled as “One Gmail to rule them all!”
Anyway, this tutorial was meant for someone who asked about it but I thought I’d post it here as well for future reference.
i sit here in front of my computer with hair smelling like cigs. with my breath tasting like beer. with a stomach full of acid and a heavy heart. i thought that all this partying would help me forget. eventually, i would forget i told myself. at the club, i have fun, i get drunk, i dance. i go home. crash into bed. wake up the next day and the cycle starts over.

the past few weeks, i think i was definitely in denial. i thought clubbing, drinking and partying like hell would get my mind off things…and i realized, i had to get more and more doses to keep me “happy”. well today, the bomb just dropped. i don’t know what triggered it, i think it was the sadness from the rain…or the fact that i don’t seem to have anyone to go out with, that i want to go out with today despite my large number of friends.
